Eloping NSW: Guide and Advice
Eloping used to mean sneaking off in the middle of the night with your lover, without the approval of family or friends. Now the definition has evolved to mean a romantic choice for couples wanting an intimate, meaningful and personalised wedding on a budget. Here's R.A.D BlackStar Photography's guide for Sydney couples, covering everything from the reasons behind the trend to legal requirements, essential vendors, ideal locations, and additional tips for a memorable elopement.

- Minimalism: Some couples might want the intimacy and privacy of an elopement over a large, traditional wedding There's no stress of organising and hosting a big event. Have a quick browse through Pinterest, and 'minimalism' is a trending aesthetic across all categories from home decor, to fashion, and now to weddings.
- Personalised: Eloping lets couples to design a wedding day that they want! Whatever theme that may be. There's so much flexibility for the couple to incorporate their personalities and interests.
- Adventure: NSW's landscapes, from its beaches to the mountains and cities, provide a backdrop that appeals to adventurous and romantic couples. They offer a straightforward and efficient wedding ceremony with a strict guest capacity limit.

- Byron Bay: Famous for its beaches, Byron Bay offers picturesque sunsets and a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for those wanting a beachside aesthetic.
- Hunter Valley: Wine country charm with vineyards, rolling hills, and rustic venues perfect for a romantic countryside elopement.
