What types of photography do you offer?
Headshots, family photography, event photography, photography for elopements & small weddings, and more. We specialise in clients who have a need for female photographers, such as organisations with domestic violence survivors, Muslim clients, or party organisers with all-female attendees.
Do you welcome clients from all orientations and diverse communities?
Yes, inclusivity is a core value at R.A.D BlackStar Photography. We book clients from all sexual orientations & gender identities (LGBTQIA+), racial and ethnic backgrounds, abilities, ages, religions and cultural perspectives.
Can we choose the location for our session?
Only the headshot packages have a location set by the photographer. For all other sessions - absolutely! We believe the location plays an important role in capturing personalised photographs. Some options are at your home, an outdoor location, or a venue of your choice - we're open to any place that has meaning to you. We are also happy to suggest locations if needed.
How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration depends on the type and scope of the session. Headshots typically range from 1 to 2 hours, while events and weddings can span several hours. Please see package details here.
Do you provide hair and makeup services?
We can recommend HMUAs in Sydney we have often worked with, who specialise in photo-ready makeup and hair styling. However we don't provide in-house hair and makeup services.
